Cover:
From the green highlights in the girl's hair, to her popping purple lips, I think this cover is amazing, and definitely an eye catcher; purely amazing!
My Thoughts:
Come to think of it, I've really been into reading about angels! It's probably just another one of my many, phases I go through. First Unearthly, who's review will be up soon, and now A Touch Morbid.
This book wasn't originally on my TBR for April, but when I received it in the mail from Me, My Shelf and I, for one of her book tours I knew I needed to read it, and review ASAP. If you don't know who she is, you really NEED to check out her blog right now, she does a ton of awesome things, and a lot of different and fun book tours!
A Touch Morbid is the second book in the A Touch Trilogy, so I'll try to keep this review as spoiler free as possible....sometimes I just get way to excited, jump up and down, and just want to tell you guys about every amazing part, that had my jaw dropped, touching the floor. It's a very bad habit...
A Touch Morbid, had my attention in it's tight grasp within just the first few pages. It took me from my bed in my boring old room (on a school, or weekend night, I'm not doing anything important) into a whole different world. It had me wishing that I could magically grow my own angel wings!
While Kristen is going crazy without Gabe, and not knowing what to do or whither or not to believe Luke, Eden wants to save Gabe and keep everyone together, Jarrod wants to help a human girl who is addicted to Touch, and Az just wants to make Eden happy, and to do so, he makes a huge sacrifice.
These characters each have something going on, so there's a lot to keep up with when reading A Touch Morbid, but after reading a few chapters you start to get the swing of things and you won't be as confused. But I feel that Leah Clifford did a really good job, reintroducing all of the characters and the situation.
If you haven't picked up this book, or A Touch Mortal, you really should! I'm not sure when the third and final book is hitting the shelves, but I'll make sure to get it, as soon as it does. Leah Clifford has an amazing way with her words, she makes them flow so easily, which makes me want to keep reading more. GO CHECK OUT THIS BOOK, NOW!
Although I did love unearthly, angel books rarely do it for me so I've been wary about this series. The covers alone make me want to read it though haha. It does sound like it could be one of those angel books that I actually enjoy it sounds like a good premise and great characters.
