Welcome to Turning Pages!
While doing my weekly "What's Coming This Week", I noticed the cover of this new release and the similarities it had with another book I already owned! So I decided to do a quick cover comparison, and wanted to ask, which cover you like better, and how would you feel as a author if the picture of your book cover was used, again on another book?

What do you think?
Fun feature! I have seen posts like this before and always enjoy reading them:)
ReplyDeleteI don't really like either cover, because kissing covers are just not my thing. However, I'd have to say I prefer the first one- I like the pretty swirly design.
If I was an author, I wouldn't want someone using the same picture as me, but if I didn't own the picture, I'd accept that I had no control over it. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?
I find a lot of covers are the same in my Nook library. I guess they get them from a stock photo website? Either way, I prefer the 2nd one. I'm not a huge fan of all the embellishments on the first one.

I never liked the cover of Return to Paradise. I don't like the colors and the background and also the boy and the girl. I dislike the whole cover. Reaching through Time looks better though, I still don't like the girl but I love the colors. It's all shimmery and fluttery. It looks good. :)
