WTB (What The Book) #3
WTB? Simply stands for, What The Book? I host this meme, but anyone can just join in!(: If you do, please leave your link in the comments I would love to read your WTB.
~State the most recent book you've finished or the best book you've read of that week, did you like it? Why or why not?
~You could add a small summary and a picture.
~If you have a review of it, you could also post the link.
~NO spoilers, please!(:
~What book do you plan on reading next, or currently reading?
~Again adding a summary and picture are optional.
~Let us know when or if a review will be up.
~Just copy and paste these rules and the picture above, and make your own WTB?.
The most recent book I've completed this week is The Last Exit to Normal by Harmon. This really isn't a book I would pick off the shelf, but since it's on the Battle of the Books (which you'll be hearing a lot about in this post, and in two others) list, so I was required to read it along with a few others. The Last Exit to Normal has little to do with romance (Shocker! I know!). The book wasn't what I'd hoped it to be, but it was still worth the read. (Reviews for all of the books, I was required to read will be posted on both Saturday and Monday; there's a lot)
The book I'm currently turning pages in, is Paper Towns by John Green (another Battle of the Books novel). I have heard a lot about this book, but it never really caught my attention and I just has a lot of other things to read or get done. After just reading part one, its action packed, and revenge seeking with a sprinkle of romantic-ness on top! Awesome, love it so far!:D

Recently I finished Inside Out by Maria V. Snyder and The Magnolia League by Katie Crouch. Both were very good....
ReplyDeleteReviews are here: http://yalitwit.blogspot.com
Right now I'm reading The Lying Game by Sara Shepard (almost done), City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare (<3), and The Lipstick Laws by Amy Holder. Reviews for these will be up in a few days.
Next up is The Dark and Hollow Places by Carrie Ryan and Where She Went by Gayle Forman.
I just finished the manga Love and War, vol. 1 (Library Wars) by Yumi and though it was a bit bizarre at first, I ended up finding it adorable! My review is on its way!

I'm currently reading The First Part Last by Angela Johnson. It's a short read, and I really should be able to whip through it, but I find myself taking it in a bit at a time. It's upsetting, but sooo good. One of those books I feel should be required reading for all teens...
Next up is Code Talker by Joseph Bruchac.
Thanks for the post! (I completely ADORE John Green, btw)
