Its Monday, What Am I Reading?

Tiger's Curse (The Tiger Saga, #1)Title: Tiger's Curse.
Author: Colleen Houck.
Summary:

"Passion. Fate. Loyalty. Would you risk it all to change your destiny? The last thing Kelsey Hayes thought she’d be doing this summer was trying to break a 300-year-old Indian curse. With a mysterious white tiger named Ren. Halfway around the world. But that’s exactly what happened. Face-to-face with dark forces, spellbinding magic, and mystical worlds where nothing is what it seems, Kelsey risks everything to piece together an ancient prophecy that could break the curse forever. Tiger’s Curse is the exciting first volume in an epic fantasy-romance that will leave you breathless and yearning for more."

My Thoughts So Far:

I haven't gotten too far into the book yet, so I don't really have an opinion right now. But many of my friends and bloggers I follow, can't say enough good things about The Tiger Saga. I'm excited to finally get into the story, know all of the characters, and see the "AMAZING" ending my best friend can't stop raving about!

But "Weekly Reviews" is just a meme showing all of the previous week's posts, including other memes, books reviews, "Blogger of the Week's" and so on, so they can once more get a shot at love!

If you like them meme, or have some suggestions for this meme, please comment below, I would love to hear your feedback!

WWW Wednesday

Welcome to Turning Pages!

What am I currently reading?

Chain Reaction (Perfect Chemistry, #3)

FINALLY!! Finally I got a hold of the third and finally book in the Perfect Chemistry series, Chain Reaction by Simone Elkeles! I'm only 50 or so pages into, but once I'm done writing this WWW and it's posted and finished I plan on making myself some hot chocolate, grab a blanket (since my heater isn't working right) and reading for an hour or so!

What did I just finish reading?

Divergent (Divergent, #1)

I just finished reading another book, I should have read a long long time ago, but either the stores were sold out, or I picked a different book over it (which now looking back, I just want to hit myself!). Divergent by Veronica Roth!! My review will be up by tomorrow.

What do I plan on reading next?

Tiger's Curse (The Tiger Saga, #1)

Well it's already January, and Burn Bright has picked its book club books for this year, and this months book is Tiger's Curse by Colleen Houck. Another read, that I hear nothing but awesome things about; can't wait to see what it has in store for me!

Waiting On Wednesday

The Girl with the Iron TouchTitle: The Girl With The Iron Touch.
Author: Kady Cross.
Summary:

"In 1897 London, something not quite human is about to awaken When mechanical genius Emily is kidnapped by rogue automatons, Finley Jayne and her fellow misfits fear the worst. What's left of their archenemy, The Machinist, hungers to be resurrected, and Emily must transplant his consciousness into one of his automatons-or forfeit her friends' lives. With Griffin being mysteriously tormented by the Aether, the young duke's sanity is close to the breaking point. Seeking help, Finley turns to Jack Dandy, but trusting the master criminal is as dangerous as controlling her dark side. When Jack kisses her, Finley must finally confront her true feelings for him...and for Griffin. Meanwhile, Sam is searching everywhere for Emily, from Whitechapel's desolate alleyways to Mayfair's elegant mansions. He would walk into hell for her, but the choice she must make will test them more than they could imagine. To save those she cares about, Emily must confront The Machinist's ultimate creation-an automaton more human than machine. And if she's to have any chance at triumphing, she must summon a strength even she doesn't know she has.... How can I protect the ones I love when it means helping our greatest enemy?"

Happy New Years!

Welcome to Turning Pages!

And Happy New Years!!

I hope you had a awesome time waiting with your friends and family for the clock to strike twelve, to finally be able to wish each other a great new year.

As we all know with a new year, comes new resolutions and new goals, maybe in your personal life, or in your blogging life. While I have a few for Turning Pages, I only have two for myself, lose weight for the bikini season, and get into the college of my choice, but on the other hand I have many goals for blogging and reading.

Some of those include, reading 100 books as well writing 100 reviews, host a new giveaway for every season of the year (Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter), and reach 550 followers by this time of next year!

I hope you come along for this ride, and follow Turning Pages throughout the entire journey!! Comment down below, I would love to hear what your goals are for 2013 (:
