Cover:

The covers in this series are, all so pretty! I love me some, white covers; they're just really clean and a beautiful. The series itself is called L.A. Candy, so I also really liked that they incorporated the "candy" in to the covers. And they look great in my shelf; which is a big plus(:

My Opinion:

Lauren Conrad? From the show, The Hills? She writes?

Yeah, she does! I didn't believe it either. I know this might seem harsh, or mean, but I didn't expect to much from L.A. Candy.

A few weeks back, I read Hilary Duff's Elixir, again not expecting too much from it. But Elixir, had my attention within the first few pages, and didn't let go until the last! I just loved it, I didn't know that Hilary Duff could write that good; she definitely proved me wrong! This was the exact same thing with L.A. Candy.

The story line itself is pretty obvious, since it's pretty much Lauren Conrad's story. Her and her best friend go to LA, one for a internship and the other to goes to school. While Elixir had my attention throughout the ENTIRE story, L.A. Candy did not. I'm not sure if it was because I just happen to be reading it during class, or what. But some parts were, not boring, but uninteresting; stretched out, just to make the book longer.

But I L.O.V.E.D the beginning and ending of the book! I can't believe how it ended! I raced through the last ten chapters just to see how the "scandal" would end! Don't tell anyone this, but I actually ordered the next two books in the series, on my ipod before I even finished reading the last page! Yes, it was really THAT good.

If you have doubts in this series, like I did, just give it a shot. Head to the library and pick it up, so you don't have to spend ten or more dollars on a book you might not like, but at least this way you can give it a try(:

Look-A-Likes?

Hey everyone!

When I went to Barnes and Nobles today, I saw a cute cover that grabbed my attention right away! It was so pretty, I couldn't help but pick it up and see what it was about.

After doing that, I walked around the shelf, just to see it again? But this time, it looked a little different. The umbrella and some of the hearts are the exact same. One cover is just zoomed in more, and another girl cropped in. Here are closer pictures:

Struck: Stupid Cupid; Flirting with Disaster; Pucker Up  Mad Love

Has anyone one of you ever noticed this? Does it bother you? Would you still read them both? Let me know what you think(:

It's Monday What Are You Reading?

Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy Series #1)

This week has been a great book week, I've read and finished three books (so expect a few reviews soon)! This week I'm reading Vampire Academy, by Richelle Mead. I've seen this series literally EVERYWHERE, so I finally decided to see what all the fuss was about. Even though, I am following my TBR list for this month, I'm also reading (actually listening to) other books on the side!

A Long, Long Sleep

A Long Long Sleep, is the audio book I'm listening to right now. I haven't actually heard of this book before I went to the library and saw it sitting on the shelf. But so far it's really good! And I'm really starting to like re-tellings of fairy tales!

So it's Monday, what are you reading?

What am I reading?

Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy Series #1)

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, is what I'm currently reading. I just started it, so I'm only a few chapters into it. Before picking this book up for myself, ever where I looked, I would see and be reminded by this series! It seemed that everyone (except me, of course) has read and enjoyed this series; so it was about time I get started on it.

What did I finish reading?

L. A. Candy (L. A Candy Series #1)

I just finished reading L.A. Candy by Lauren Conrad, which I wasn't too sure if I should read in the first place. Most of the reviews I read, were mixed, they didn't really know it they liked or if they didn't. But after reading it, I know exactly how I feel about it(;

What am I reading next?

Unearthly (Unearthly Series #1)

Unearthly by Cynthia Hand is what I'm reading next (my TBR list is on the right side->). I la la la love the cover! The color is so pretty and its shiiiny!! I haven't actually read any reviews, but the second book in this series (Hallowed) is a Burn Bright Book Club read, but not for another few months.

If you've read any of these books, comment down below and let me know what you thought about them! I would love to hear what you think, especially about L.A. Candy!
